By using the Service, you agree to the terms outlined below. ### 1. Your Content You retain full ownership of the words, clues, names, numbers, photos, and other original content you enter into PuzzleBuilder. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. ### 2. License for Free Plan Puzzles Puzzles created using the free plan are granted a **personal, non-commercial license**. Free plan access allows you to explore and preview the puzzle builder. You may not download, publish, or distribute puzzles created under the free plan. ### 3. License for Paid Package Puzzles When you purchase a paid package (Starter, Party, or Ultimate), you are granted a **personal use license** for the puzzles created within that occasion. This license allows you to: - Download puzzles in high-resolution PDF and PNG formats without watermark. - Print unlimited copies of your puzzles for personal use, including occasions such as weddings, birthdays, parties, classroom activities, and social gatherings. - Share puzzles digitally with guests, friends, family, or attendees. - Publish puzzles online using PuzzleBuilder's online play feature. - Display printed puzzles at your event or venue. You may continue to edit your puzzles — including content, design, and layout — after purchasing a package, at no additional cost. Your license remains valid as long as your account is active and the purchase has not been refunded. ### 4. Commercial Use The standard paid package license covers personal and occasion use. Commercial use — such as selling printed puzzles, including puzzles in a product for sale, using puzzles in paid services, or distributing puzzles for profit — requires a separate **commercial license**. If you would like to use PuzzleBuilder puzzles for commercial purposes, please contact us through our [Support page](https://puzzlebuilder.co/support/) to discuss commercial licensing options. ### 5. AI-Generated Content Content generated by PuzzleBuilder's AI assistant — including words, clues, numbers, and story labels — is provided as suggestions. Once you review and include AI-generated content in your puzzle, it is treated the same as any other content you create — the license terms in Sections 2, 3, and 4 apply equally. AI-generated content is not guaranteed to be unique. Similar words, clues, or other content may be generated for other users. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before use. ### 6. Online Play When you publish a puzzle online with a paid package, the online play page is hosted by PuzzleBuilder. The license to use the online play feature remains active as long as: - Your paid package for that occasion is valid (not refunded). - Your PuzzleBuilder account is active. We reserve the right to remove any published puzzle that violates our [Terms of Service](https://puzzlebuilder.co/terms-of-service/). ### 7. PuzzleBuilder Platform The PuzzleBuilder platform itself — including its design, code, templates, fonts, graphics, icons, and branding — is owned by PuzzleBuilder and is **not** included in your license. You may not: - Copy, reproduce, or redistribute PuzzleBuilder templates, designs, or fonts outside of your generated puzzle files. - Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract any part of the platform's code or assets. - Use PuzzleBuilder's name, logo, or branding in a way that implies endorsement or affiliation without our written permission. ### 8. Restrictions Regardless of whether you use the free plan or a paid package, you may **not**: - Claim that PuzzleBuilder's templates, designs, or platform features are your own work. - Use puzzles to create content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, discriminatory, or infringes on the rights of others. - Redistribute or resell blank PuzzleBuilder templates or design assets. - Sub-license your puzzle rights to a third party. ### 9. Termination of License Your license for puzzles within a specific occasion is terminated if: - You receive a refund for that occasion's package purchase. - Your PuzzleBuilder account is suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service. - You violate any of the restrictions outlined in this policy. Upon termination, you must stop using and distributing the affected puzzles. Files already printed before termination do not need to be destroyed, but no further copies may be made. ### 10.
