These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PuzzleBuilder website, tools, and services available at **puzzlebuilder.co** ("Service"), operated by PuzzleBuilder ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. ### 1. About PuzzleBuilder PuzzleBuilder is a web-based puzzle creation tool that allows users to design personalized puzzles for events. Users can build crossword puzzles, word searches, number hunts, sudoku, and challenge games (photo, bingo, and spy) using their own content, customize the design with a drag-and-drop editor, and either download print-ready files or publish puzzles online for others to play. ### 2. Accounts To save your work and access certain features, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to: - Provide accurate and complete information. - Keep your login credentials secure and confidential. - Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are inactive for an extended period. ### 3. Free and Paid Access #### 3.1 Free Access PuzzleBuilder offers free access to its puzzle builder with basic features. Free access allows you to create one puzzle per occasion to explore and preview the builder. Free access does not include AI tools, downloads, or online play. #### 3.2 Paid Packages Paid packages are one-time purchases per occasion. There is no subscription and no recurring charges. PuzzleBuilder offers the following packages: - Starter ($7.99): 1 puzzle per occasion. - Party ($14.99): Up to 3 puzzles per occasion. - Ultimate ($24.99): Up to 5 puzzles per occasion. All paid packages unlock the same features, including: - Full puzzle builder access. - AI clue and word generator. - Premium templates and fonts. - All page sizes and orientations. - High-resolution PNG and PDF downloads without watermark. - Online play with a shareable link. - Leaderboard and scoring functionality. - Password protection for online puzzles. #### 3.3 Scope of Paid Packages Each paid package applies to a single occasion. An occasion may contain one or more puzzles depending on the package purchased. You may continue to edit your puzzles — including content, design, and layout — after purchasing a package, at no additional cost. ### 4. Payments and Billing Payments are processed through our authorized third-party payment partner. All transactions are handled securely by the payment partner, and your financial information is never stored on our servers. ### 5. Intellectual Property #### 5.1 Your Content You retain full ownership of the words, clues, names, and other content you enter into PuzzleBuilder. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. #### 5.2 Our Content The PuzzleBuilder platform, including its design, code, templates, fonts, AI-generated suggestions, graphics, and branding, is owned by PuzzleBuilder and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without our written permission. #### 5.3 Generated Puzzles For details on how you may use puzzles created with PuzzleBuilder, please refer to our [License Policy](https://puzzlebuilder.co/license-policy/). ### 6. AI-Generated Content PuzzleBuilder offers an AI assistant that generates words, clues, and numbers based on your input. AI-generated content is provided as suggestions only. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all content before including it in your puzzle. We do not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or appropriateness of AI-generated content. You agree not to use the AI assistant to generate content that is offensive, defamatory, illegal, or infringes on the rights of others. ### 7. Online Play and Shared Puzzles When you publish a puzzle online, it becomes accessible via a unique link. You are responsible for the content of any puzzle you publish. By publishing, you confirm that: - The content does not violate any laws or the rights of third parties. - The content is not offensive, harmful, or inappropriate. - You have the right to use any names, references, or personal information included in the puzzle. We reserve the right to remove or disable access to any published puzzle that violates these Terms or that we determine, at our sole discretion, to be inappropriate. ### 8. Acceptable Use You agree not to use PuzzleBuilder to: - Create content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory. - Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others. - Distribute spam, malware, or any other harmful material. - Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems. - Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service. - Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission. Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account. ### 9. Availability and Modifications We strive to keep PuzzleBuilder available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Upon deletion, your puzzles and associated data will be permanently removed. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. ### 13. Governing Law These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Turkey. ### 14. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. ### 15.
